Venford Twin Waterfall Dartmoor, Devon Photography Locations #12

Venford Twin Falls lies on the stunning Dartmoor National park area of Devon, not far from Holne, it lies at grid reference SX681724

Venford Twin Falls, is a medium to small waterfall approx 6m high, the water cascades over two rocks causing two separate waterfalls to form..

Venford Twin Falls is one of only a few waterfalls on Dartmoor along with Becky Falls, Canon Teign Falls and the East Dart Falls.. But in my opinion is the best due to its natural setting and the fact less tourists visit the area.

Good for: Venford Twin Falls is a great place to visit for intimate ad secluded views of Dartmoors rivers and forests which can be great to explore..

Difficulty: 5 min medium walk with steep parts.

The waterfall is approx 25 mins from Tavistock or 15 mins from Buckfaskeigh by car.

Location: From the carpark on the Hexworthy side of the reservoir (by the edge of the reservoir) walk away from the reservoir, follow the fence around the corner to the right that follows the south west water treatment works, walk along the ridge above the river for approx 400m then walk down towards the river, your should be able to hear or see the falls.
